What is the $-mode and pts-mode in the trade ticket?

There are two ways to trade on UpTick, you can pick your exposure with a normal trade size slider or you choose the point betting mode. Please see below for clarification how both of those work:

$-mode

In this mode you are choosing the trade size with a normal slider where you can choose what € / $ / £ size you would like to trade with. It is the standard trading mode on UpTick. If you choose €200 with a 10:1 multiplier for example, this means you are trading with €2,000 in capital on that trade.

pts-mode

When you trade with point betting mode you are betting a certain amount of money per point movement of the underlying market. Say Apple trades at 116.02 and you are betting €2 per point movement. That means when the price of Apple increases by one cent to 116.03, your position moves by €2 (up or down depending on whether you opened a "buy" or a "sell" trade).
