What is the "Trade Size"?
The position trade size is what you are betting on the move of the underlying market. Let’s say you are choosing a €100 trade size in the order ticket for a product with a 10:1 multiplier. This means that when the underlying market moves by 1%, your position will move by 10% which in this example is €10. So the trade size measures the exposure you have to a market move. This can also be expressed in € per point movement such as “€5.50 per 0.01” which says that if the market moves by 0.01, your position will move by €5.50.
